The digital flora of Madagascar

This is the startpage of my digital flora of Madagascar. The photos on these (sub)website has been made in 2004,  2012, 2015 and 2017, when i was for some weeks in Madagascar. In this collection are also some pictures, I made in Botanical Gardens elsewhere and from my own tiny collection..

This website consist now of 322 plant species. In the future the amount of species will be expanded. In 2018 we are still working on it and we hope to extend it to 370 a 400 species.

The descriptions are from a limited books/guides about the flora of Madagascar. You can find the sources of this website on the webpage Literature.

The names used for the plants are the accepted plant species according to:
